Category Manager


Strategic Asset Management:

- Craft and execute strategies to manage our equipment and vehicle assets from start to finish.

- Stay on top of market trends and tweak our strategies to stay ahead of the game.

OEM and Dealer Relations:

- Build and nurture strong relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and dealers.

- Negotiate service agreements to keep our assets in top-notch condition.

Used Car Agency Partnerships:

- Partner with used car agencies to ensure our leased vehicles have a smooth transition to their next owner.

- Optimize the asset disposition process to maximize returns.

IT and Digital Platform Integration:

- Harness IT solutions to boost service delivery and streamline asset management processes.

- Support the rollout and use of digital platforms for asset tracking, maintenance, and sales.

Lease Return and Asset Release:

- Manage the release process for lease-returned assets.

- Assess market demand and customer needs to fine-tune asset release strategies.

Market and Customer Insights:

- Dive into market research to stay informed about trends, customer preferences, and the competitive landscape.

- Use these insights to make smart decisions about managing and disposing of assets.

Maximizing Asset Gains:

- Develop and implement strategies to get the most value from asset sales.

- Continuously improve the sale processes to ensure ORIX gets the best returns.

Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead, mentor, and grow the asset management team.

- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a big plus.

- Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with OEMs, dealers, and used car agencies.

- Strong grasp of IT systems and digital platforms related to asset management.

- Sharp analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
