Origination Role - Mid Market - Corporate Banking

Job Title - Mid Market - Corporate Banking (Origination)

Location - Mumbai/ Bangalore / Chennai/ Gurgaon / Delhi / Noida

Job Objective - To originate business and manage corporate relationships in the startup / fintech or emerging business segment

Responsibilities

- Part of the debt deal team with the responsibility of identifying potential clients and conducting due diligences/underwriting credit risk

- Preparing post due diligence notes; credit analysis of potential clients

- Manage existing client relationships on an on-going basis - which entails managing the debt funding requirements of clients through the bouquet of products that the Company offers; thereby generating business volumes for the company

- Developing understanding of the underlying sector by field visits, clients visit etc.

Key Performance Indicators

- Rigorously tracking and analyzing financial and operational performance of clients on an on-going basis. Preparing and maintaining credit notes, sector notes / presentations etc.

- Aiding in the structuring and implementation of structured finance and debt capital market transactions for the clients. Interacting with the capital market sales teams in this regard

- Negotiating and executing plain vanilla and structured finance transactions; coordinating with various stakeholders involved in deals - including legal firms, investors etc.

Must Have

- MBA, CA, CFA or equivalent

- 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in banking / financial services industry,

- preferably in consulting/ Supply Chain finance/ wholesale banking / financial services

- Strong understanding of corporate/credit analysis

- Understanding the structured finance; Ability to work extensively on excel sheets

- Knowledge of legal framework, RBI /SEBI regulations, Companies Act, and other applicable laws/regulations required for transactions
