It has been a household name in the Indian fan industry for over 60 years.
Role Purpose:
The Lead Compensation & Benefits role at Orient Electric involves developing, implementing, and administering the company's rewards and benefits policies. This role also ensures that the Total Rewards programs are competitive, equitable and support the company's overall strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation Strategy & Benchmarking:
- Develop and execute compensation strategy that drives performance and helps in attracting and retaining top talent.
- Conduct regular benchmarking, salary surveys, and market analysis to ensure competitive pay scales.
- Oversee job evaluations, salary bands, and pay equity reviews.
Benefits Management:
- Design and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to employee benefits.
Performance & Incentive Programs:
- Develop and administer short-term and long-term incentive plans, including variable pay, bonuses, and ESOPs.
- Collaborate with leadership to align reward structures with business performance metrics.
HR Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure all compensation and benefits policies comply with labor laws, tax regulations, and corporate governance.
- Maintain HRIS and payroll systems to ensure accuracy in compensation data and reporting.
Stakeholder & Employee Engagement:
- Work closely with HR, finance, and leadership teams to drive compensation-related decisions.
- Develop communication strategies to educate employees on compensation and benefits programs.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- The role will own the HR budgeting process and closely monitor cost's aligned to the the overall plan.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7-12 years of experience in compensation & benefits or related HR functions.
- Expertise in job evaluation methodologies, salary benchmarking, and incentive programs.
- Proficiency in Excel, HRIS (Darwinbox) and payroll systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Work Location:
