About the role :


This is a senior role where Success requires strong strategic ability in co-construction, organization alignment, executive support/sponsorship, and measures of success with a structured, executive-level governance cadence.


As International Zone Project Management Head India your responsibilities will traverse multiple organizations and dimensions - Your strong/established network and organization astuteness will be a key enabler in this context.


Project Management is distributed across the International Zone, in regional Business Management teams as well as in central Business Management teams based in Egypt, India and Brazil. Teams across the centre work as a customer centric 'one team' setup, irrespective of their role/location.


Primary Responsibilities:


- Leads two Senior Business Project Management Leaders, one for each of the territories within the APAC region hosting a single interface into the centre.


- In partnership with the Practice Leader, shape the Project Management (Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid) strategy and methodologies within the International Zone.


- Hosting direct responsibility for 60+ people, with indirect 180+ people in the central organizations (Cairo & Brazil).


- Responsible for developing and implementing the Project Management vision, strategy and Project Management programs across the International Zone organization while meeting the changing needs of our customers.


- Hosting/facilitating the required regional governance forums between central & regional PM, GDO & other entities interlinked with the global practice execution.


- In partnership with regional Project Leaders and Multi-Service delivery Leaders, is responsible for full project based P&L delivery assurances.


- Via the Project Management Practice Leader is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the key practice components: People learning & development, methodology, digital data & project quality assurance to consistently deliver a quality and profitable project management service to our customers.


- Ensures project scope, schedule, and budgets are established and managed through the full project lifecycles leading towards profitable P&L outcomes.


- Promote and drive a culture of business accountability focused upon customer value creation within a co-constructive Agile mindset through effective application of people management techniques including hiring, retention, coaching and development.


- With an Agile and business mindset/spirit, enable active Project Management participation in the sales/pre-sales 'selling' process on monetizing the Project Management services towards our customer.


- Identify critical metrics to assess and measure impact and results. Ensures established metrics are tracked, reported and reviewed on a regular basis.


- Collaborates with International Zone partners to ensure Project Management optimizes our business process and supports our customer experience.


- Supports and participates in continues service improvement activities.


- Actively contributes towards EBITDaL improvement initiatives.


- You will also be representing the International Zone/customer 'voice' in cross-organizational forums to define territory strategic plans (e.g. ODC, regional business reviews) while engaging/maintaining solid working relationships with OGSB, GDO and OINIS


- You will host the ability to be an active Project Sponsor for the larger scale customer Projects/Programs.


About You:


- University Degree required in the Business and/or Telecommunications field - Specializations/higher education in related fields a bonus.


- Formal Project Management accreditation required (PMP/ACP), complementary (SAFe/DevOps).


- Language skills - Fluent English required, both spoken and written.


Required Soft Skills:


- Communicates effectively to inform and influence at all levels


- Customer value focussed with strong interpersonal & negotiation skills


- MS Office proficiency, Power-BI and Data visualization techniques - OBS specific's a bonus (One-truth, etc..)


- Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies are desirable


Additional Information :


- 15+ years in international telecommunications business/environment with strong strategic orientation and expertise.


- 10+ years of people management experience and demonstrated success in leadership roles in a Project/Program Management environment.


- Lead and build large scale and effective Project Management teams with extensive experience in project-based P&L management.


- Hosting a passion for staying current in understanding new trends in globalization, professional services, business operations, process, information technologies and Project Management disciplines.


- Budgeting, Business Unit management, and project-based P&L ownership experience is mandatory.


- Ability to operate with autonomy and strong experience in managing directly/indirectly cross functionals teams (incl. virtual teaming environment).


- Proven track record in delivering complex transformational/financial/technical programs.


- Stellar oral and written communications skills and experience in addressing all levels of the OBS organisation.


- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with proven track record in developing/hosting external and internal relationships.


- Strong experience in partner/supplier management and able to make quick/informed/wise decisions within the delegated schedule of authority.


- Exposure to Global operations/service delivery, integrated and managed service delivery is mandatory.


- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.


- In-depth knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of trust and confidence.


- Ability to be flexible while working in a changing environment - change management and transformation experience required.


- Results orientation, with a 'can do attitude' and problem-solving attitude.


- Strong influencer who can think out of the box and drive action.
