Seeking a matured, seasoned, process driven individual with a proven track record of success. This is a senior position that will require an experienced leader that can expeditiously scale an organization to cope up with client demand.

Company's Oracle practice head will have had demonstrated expertise in leading a large Oracle practice with global business focus across Oracle products principally ERP, BI/EPM, Fusion Middle Ware (FMW), Database and Cloud technologies (SaaS and PaaS). The Oracle practice head would manage multiple responsibilities including a Strategist, Practice Leader, Operations Head, People's Leader and a Delivery support Leader. The incumbent should have managed most of these roles as part of his career in right measure and would have migrated to being a practice lead now.

The Oracle practice head will report to the Global Enterprise Applications Head and responsible for driving firm's global Oracle business growth across company's global markets. Key role dimensions would include

- Plan the strategy and direction for Oracle service line for the next 2-3 years in line with organization and our clients strategy and vision

- Work closely with sales, alliance and vertical teams as per market needs, future market focus and help define workable Go to Market (GTM) proposition.

- Offer in-depth functional and domain expertise within areas of strategic focus, including knowledge of related applications, products and solutions

- Conceptualising, Building and Growing Oracle practice as per global market trends, Oracle's growth focus, set target for organization and the future market focus;

- Competency building across Oracle products that align with our growth plan and go to market focus

- Plan and deliver Oracle services across products such as assessment, Implementation, upgrades, integration, customization, bespoke development etc., as Oracle practice head

- Strong understanding of Oracle Applications and tools including Finance, SCM, MFG, HCM, CRM, Value Chain Planning, Fusion applications, Cloud products (SaaS and PaaS), technology aspects including Data conversion, Customizations - Reports, Forms, Extensions, Integration etc.,

- Meet all the practice targets including Revenue, Gross Margin, service offerings, create unique differentiators, track and ascertain new services that we can take to market, practice applied innovation and collaborate with other Business Units accounts organization to introduce and grow the Oracle business.

- Supporting sales for client acquisition including collaterals, proposals, and presentations etc., and support the client orals to win such deals / proposals.

- Ensure keeping the overall costs under control by having the right talent to meet the designated gross margins.

- Need to have a thorough understanding of the Processes, Challenges and IT landscape in Oracle related services in particular and Enterprise Applications in general.

Essential job functions

Overall experience of over 18-20+ years with relevant experience in Oracle including the following:

- Demonstrated experience in having managed a large Oracle practice of over 1500+ associates across diverse product breadth including Applications, Tools, Database etc.

- Must have managed Oracle business with P & L focus as per defined KPIs

- Aligns Oracle growth strategy with overall enterprise applications focus and firm's business strategy

- Demonstrate thought leadership to help grow company's Oracle practice as a leading global Oracle services provider

- Coordinates with various vertical business units (VBU) and global sales teams to drive the overall competency growth as per market needs, future market focus and help define workable Go to Market (GTM) focus.

- Experience in delivering on large scale Oracle led transformation and technical projects

- Proven ability to envision and execute Technology enabled multi-function/global transformation Enterprise Solutions (Oracle Applications, Tools, Database etc.,) including the fast growing Digital focus ( Business Intelligence & Analytics; Mobile Solutions; Internet of Things etc.,)

- Help drive business from ongoing clients and help win new clients.

- Actively support sales opportunities by leveraging solutions, offerings and services and translate them into strong value proposition for clients and help win most deals.

- Effectively monitor the overall practice resources to drive them towards being relevant to Oracle technologies and market needs at all times

- Has reasonably good understanding of industry (Manufacturing, Consumer product goods and Retail at minimum)

- Support delivery teams on various projects to have the required multi-discipline Oracle team including to ensure Customer Service Delivery Excellence.

- Ability to screen new products and technologies that complement current Oracle practice in a continuous manner and develop a team with deep knowledge of such products and technologies

- Co-ordinate and leverage relationships with Oracle alliance team to assimilate product expertise, joint go to market focus, build internal Oracle competencies and renew them continuously for market relevance and build thought leadership to sustain the business growth.

- Strong understanding of contemporary delivery models including onsite-offshore, distributed delivery, managed delivery etc.,

- Experience in having driven initiatives to acquire new client acquisition as well as grow existing Oracle business for a specific region. This would also include

Defining market strategies based on strong market research and understanding the dynamics working closely with the regional sales team.

Identifying specific services to be focused for various client /market segments

Actively support sales opportunities by leveraging solutions, offerings and services and translate them into strong value proposition for clients and help win most deals.

Supporting pre-sales activities including opportunity assessment, scope qualification and definition, preparing proposals and work estimation, presenting value proposition at Orals and delivering engagements

Business Focus

- Drive business development efforts and key account management activities focused for Oracle Service Line including participate in existing Growth Account planning, key pursuits and Participate in client meetings

- Work with Sales and Account teams in building an opportunity pipeline and drive demand for solutions by adding new competencies or modifying current service offerings to meet evolving client/market needs.

- Work with the various stakeholders and clients to develop innovative/ custom offerings that align with Oracle Service line growth focus

People Focus

- Talent acquisition and development including managing attrition;

- Develop and execute a people plan to build and grow new a/ existing competencies, continuously up-skill resources on new technologies / products in enabling them to be more relevant for our client requirements and market opportunities

- Ability to lead large teams through influence and building consensus

- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of different work environments and locations

- Exhibit high work ethics and be a role model for the Business by aligning to company values
