ob Title: Deal Management Manager (M2)

Reporting to: Sr. Manager Operations (M3)

Responsibilities:

The below illustrates the tasks and responsibilities assigned to the Deal Management Manager:

a) Manages and leads the Deal Management Team. He/she will have one or two Team Leads as direct reports and indirect people responsible for all Analysts and Senior Analysts in the region/process

b) Ownership of team's objectives and KPIs, as agreed with Stake holders. Monitors and works with the teams towards achieving them

c) Defines requirements and implements new programs and business processes as agreed by Stake holders Team in conjunction with Deal Management Global Process Owners

d) Defines development specifications for enhancing internal tools and systems, in conjunction with Deal Management Global Process Owners

e) Responsible for solving the escalations that arise within the team

f) Monitors direct reports- activity and support/steers the teams concerning initiatives to improve business success

g) Identifies new business opportunities for the team and participates in business process the definition for implementing new initiatives

h) Provides regular performance metrics to Deal Management team

i) Provides fiscal and quarterly reporting to Deal Management team

j) Works closely with other LOB's (e.g. Order Booking, Sales, Support Sales, IT etc.)

k) Supervises and takes part in the interview process, makes hiring decisions for qualified candidates

l) Responsible for the team's evaluation, training, talent management and career development

m) Encourages the innovation inside the teams, creates an innovative working environment

n) Acknowledges applies and promotes within the team the Company policies, procedures and processes as defined at Company /Line of Business /Department Levels

I) Academic Qualification and Experience:

- Minimum a Graduate with 9-12 years of experience, with 5-7 years of people management, including managing people managers (TL/AM/DM)

- Should be proficient with Microsoft Office

- Project Management background

II) Key Competencies:

- Strong change management skills and ability to adapt to changes and manage changes in process and operations.

- Project management experience and working on multiple projects concurrently

- Experience in people/line management

- Very good English speaking - written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to build strong collaborative relationships and good Stake holder engagements across all levels of teams (both internal and external)

- Strong analytical skills

- Capacity for leading change, providing creative solutions

- Demonstrated capacity for results achievement

- Influencing, persuasion, and people management skills

III) Additional Details:

- Should be a Dynamic Individual who's open to change at short span of notice

- Should be okay with all shifts including night shifts

DM Team process summary as below:

- The Deal Management Services (DM) Team is responsible configuring products with appropriate pricing & discounts and creating contract documents for Customers who are buying Oracle products. The team needs to liaise with internal functions like Sales, Product Release groups, local Deal Management teams and Global process Owners, to be able to produce the right product pricing and clauses in accordance with Oracle's Approval Matrix. An integral aspect of the team is to enable Sales to deliver accurate and timely inputs to the customer with the faster turnaround to facilitate revenue velocity.

- The team also works with downstream booking processes to seamlessly handhold the entry of such records into Oracle systems post the customer agrees to buy our products

.- This team works Globally and is responsible for Hardware, Cloud, and Software line of businesses. It falls under the gamut of Order Management of our captive unit (GFIC - Global Finance Information Center)
