Oracle - Lead - Financial Analyst

Shift - 6 PM - 3 AM

A brief about the role:

Oracle Global Financial Information Center (GFIC) is part of the Global Finance Organization of Oracle Corporation and is located in Bangalore. Global Business Finance (GBF) is the organization that provides Oracle Business Leads the financial planning and reporting support. GFIC GBF is the extended business finance organization where all the geographies and businesses of Oracle Corporation are supported centrally. This organization is also called the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) center. The key areas where GFIC GBF is involved in business support are:

- Periodic Management reporting - P&L, Financial and Operational Metrics

- P&L forecasting - Revenue, Operating Expenses and Headcount forecasting

- Variance Analysis - Analyzing the variance between Actuals v/s forecast & v/s budget.

- Adhoc analysis - non-standard, urgent request of financial information.

- Annual Budgeting

- Financial system maintenance

- Driving Standardization and automation initiatives

- Driving process efficiencies and consistencies

Oracle was the pioneer in the area of centralizing business finance function and GFIC GBF has completed 10 years of its operation in that field.

Location : Bangalore

The business is spread across the Globe and are segmented as North and Latin America, Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), Japan & Asia Pacific. Role may involve direct interaction with the Oracle's management (Finance/Sales VP and SVP) in any of these Geographies, hence strong spoken and written communication skills are mandatory. Since Oracle is a technology company and it uses its latest technology at all times, being tech savvy and willing to learn new technology and tools and adapt quickly are basic requirements. Change is a constant phenomenon here and we need people who can embrace change and also drive the same with innovative means are highly preferred.
