Oracle Financing Division (OFD) provides flexible and customized deal structure solutions that enable customers to acquire Oracle products and services as well as third-party solutions built on Oracle technologies. Ideal candidate will work with a broad team to bridge Oracle and customer financial, operational and business requirements and will contribute to the further development of an efficient, flexible business platform for servicing tailored financial structures. This person will work across functions (i.e., legal, operations, pricing and executive management) to steward financial relationships that enhance the Oracle customer experience over time while growing and accelerating Oracle revenue opportunities.
In this role, day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Drive the achievement of assigned sales and business objectives in compliance with Oracle policies and practices (e.g., revenue recognition, pricing, credit, structure, legal etc.)
- Training Oracle technology sales personnel to identify opportunities for accelerating and growing sales through OFD engagement
- Actively supporting Oracle and OFD team members in the evaluation of complex business requirements and the development & presentation of solutions to senior executives
- Obtaining credit approvals, providing financial and transaction analysis to assist credit underwriting
- Advising customers of acquisition payment and deal structure options, and preparing proposals and contracts for payment solutions
- Contract negotiation and closing business
- Developing new financial sales and structure methodologies based on individual client requirements and evolving financial and accounting principles
- Developing and presenting cloud transition models that demonstrate the financial value of moving to Oracle from legacy and non-Oracle systems
Requirements:
- BS/BA in Business, Finance or Economics; MBA is a plus, Experience in IT financing and leasing is a plus
- 4-6 years of sales experience in financial services, asset management or consulting/auditing firms
- Strong presentation skills; proven ability to sell to executive-level customers
- Advanced knowledge of credit, financial, and accounting concepts and significant experience with financial structuring and pricing (e.g. NPV, IRR, etc.)
- Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others
- Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization
