ORACLE EBS FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT - PROCUREMENT P2P

P2P Functional Expert

Modules: Purchasing, AP, GL, and iExpense, iProcurement R12 Experience is a MUST. Should have at least R12 upgrade playing a role of P2P Functional resource handling payables, purchasing and iExpense

Responsibilities

- Support the Oracle R12 Subject Matter Expert and Project Manager as required

- Oversee the interfaces and alignment between Oracle R12 procurement implementation and the following

Programmes, ensuring integration throughout implementation and continuity in Business As Usual:

- Group Purchase Card Programme.

- Supplier Approval and Accreditation Programme

- Labour ordering system

- Supplier Performance Measuring Programme

- With reference to the programmes listed above:

- Attend relevant meetings and conference calls

- Provide written and verbal feedback to Procurement Subject Matter Expert and Project Manager

- Understand how Oracle R12 will work and interface with each of the Programmes above

- Monitor and report progress of activities within these projects

- Understand policies, procedures and governance within these areas

- Remit is not limited to the projects above

- Support in User Acceptance Testing

- Work cross functionally with other work streams

Qualifications

- Expertise and functional hands on experience of the Oracle R12 Procurement system and functionality:

I-procurement

Oracle P2P lifecycle

Sourcing

- Good communication skills, verbal and written

- Good Excel and Word skill

- Ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritise workloads

- Understanding of general procurement best practice

- Good understanding of the overall Purchase to Payment process and interfaces

- A good team player but able to work alone, representing Procurement at meetings and conference calls

- Commercial awareness of the procurement environment

Advantageous but not necessary

- Knowledge of Purchasing Cards and their use

- Experience of Oracle implementation
