Job Description - As the Oracle Database Architect will join a team of high-flying Database Architects responsible for Designing and developing the capacity, availability and efficiency of a complex global database structure

- Take on a consultative approach to identify root causes, provide and execute practical database solutions

- Required to develop Database Administrator automation toolkit and standard processes to improve the efficiency of the database service

- Design logical and physical databases, implement and provide deep technical expertise

- Ensure high database availability and performance

- Support Database as a Service or Private Cloud Rollout Globally

- Service based approach Monitor and create strategic plans to address issues

- Actively engage with key stakeholders

- Develop automation tools and standard processes

The Successful Candidate - You must have:

- Strong technical knowledge of Oracle Databases (version 9i, 10g and 11g a must)

- Strong technical experience in RAC, Oracle Streams, Golden Gate and Dataguard Experience designing and developing databases, as well as supporting databases

- Experience within the banking and finance industry Oracle Certification (OCP) would be preferred
