Sales Consultant (Pre-Sales)  Job Description :   Optymyze increases sales force and channel partner performance with enterprise incentive compensation and sales performance management applications for executing sales and channel strategies; driving desired selling behaviors; enabling people to produce better results; and analyzing and improving performance with insightful business intelligence.  As a Sales Engineer at Optymyze, you play a key role in the sales process. Working closely with the Corporate Sales organization, the Sales Engineer is responsible for creating customized presentations and demonstrations of the Optymyze Sales Performance Management (SPM) solutions, in order to win business from new and existing customers.  In addition, Sales Engineers will work closely with Marketing and Product Development to ensure proper messaging in the marketplace and provide prospect feedback regarding the overall solution.  Responsibilities :  - Conducting discovery calls with prospects to gather key requirements, pain points, use cases and decision-drivers  - Gathering and interpreting requirements and incorporating them into an effective solution  - Building and presenting custom software demonstrations that incorporate prospect data, scenarios and specific prospect requirements  - Conducting software demonstrations to prospects, clients, strategic partners, and industry analysts  - Ability to present the demonstration in such a way as to tell a story to the prospect based on real-world scenarios  - Maintaining, enhancing, and continuously improving the Optymyze demo environments to keep them current with the latest technologies and industry trends  - Testing the usability of software prototypes and providing feedback to product management based on relevant sales experiences  - Participating in the design of new software features to meet the needs of the marketplace  - Learning new features/functionality of the Optymyze platform for all enhancements  Prerequisites :  - Minimum of 5+ years of experience demonstrating software solutions to prospects as a Sales Engineer or a Trainer  - Exceptional written & oral communication skills  - Excellent presentation skills and a natural ease in front of small and large groups  - Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines  - Ability to adapt quickly and think on your feet while conducting presentations and demonstrations  - Exceptional analytical & problem-solving skills  - Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies quickly  - Willingness to travel and work the hours necessary to accommodate prospective client's schedules  - Experience and familiarity with Optymyze products, HTML or reporting platforms such as LogiAnalytics, Birst, QlikView a plus
