Options Trader - Quant/Systematic Trading

Looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Options Trader role (Quant / Systematic Trading)

Job Purpose

As a trader on the options desk, the incumbent will manage an equity / currency derivatives book, using a combination of manual and algorithmic trading platforms. Both risk and targets would progress naturally with confidence in understanding and trade history.

Apart from being completely on the buy side, this role offers an opportunity to take significant responsibilities and risk allocations early.

Outside of the role of trader, there is the opportunity to grow and build a team around an existing or entirely new product vertica

Key Responsibilities:

Managerial Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain opportunity trackers and position monitors.

- Helping the team grow and contributing to the platform in general through a sense of ownership

Functional Responsibilities

- Managing your own trading book with discipline

- Learning the scope and nuances of trading at GM

- Trading using terminals and Excel monitors

Qualifications:

- Engineering / Math / Statistics / Others

Experience:

3yr+ as a trader
