Operations Research Specialist/Scientist - Aviation Industry

PhD Statistics, Operations Research, or an Applied Math degree with extensive Statistics or Operations Research experience, Who will be responsible for :

- Development of OR approaches for optimizing the performance, accuracy and repeatability .

- Document results of research and development projects

- Provide inputs to management in the form of progress reports, project summaries

- Track and evaluate performance to ensure conformance to project plans and project requirements.

- Work closely with Technical teams at global level.

- The selected individual will develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners.

Profile :

- Should have a track record in research and development of highly innovative solutions for difficult problems.

- Ability to work with engineers and develop an engineering need into Statistics or Operations Research problem.

- Comfortable with machine learning and data analytics of structured data.

- Be a self-starter who is not afraid to pro-actively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work.

- Demonstrate strong written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills. Be fluent in written and spoken

- Applying optimization methods and multivariate statistics to engineering and manufacturing domain

- General knowledge and experience with linear modeling/ programming, logistic regression and mixed models.

- Coding experience in R, C/C++, Java, and/or python.

- Willingness to travel occasionally within India and internationally.
