Operations Manager - Manufacturing

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of operations professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.

- Develop, implement, and monitor operational processes and procedures to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality.

- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement process optimization initiatives.

- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.

- Identify and mitigate operational risks and ensure adherence to all safety regulations.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost-effectiveness.

- Manage and improve operational metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Implement and maintain quality control standards throughout the operation.

- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in operations management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in operations management or a similar leadership role.

- Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve operational excellence.

- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, etc. ) (a plus).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Experience with project management tools (e. g. , Asana, Trello) (a plus).

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
