Title : Manager Operations

Department : Insurance

Reporting To: Assistant Vice President

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Responsible for the Insurance Compliance Team assigned to ensure timely and accurate performance of all department functions and compliance with all internal, investor, and regulatory requirements

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

(Duties may include but are not limited to)

- Manage the operations of the Insurance Compliance team including oversight responsibility for the overall group to ensure all productivity goals, quality requirements and deadlines are met.

- Work closely with the US team to improve quality of Insurance Compliance & Disbursement process and to provide insightful information and process improvements within the Insurance portfolio

- Partner with the US team to develop Commercial Real Estate knowledge of the team to help provide valuable market insights in the commentaries.

- Assist in the technology improvement initiatives in the process.

- Coordinate with TLs/AMs/PEs and identify the training needs, create backups to meet the peaks & valleys

- Review processes operation and provide suggestions for improvement and work closely with transformation team.

- Co-ordinate with other AMs/Managers/SMs and share information to ensure commitments are met/exceeded

- Contribute to short and long-term goals of the group and come up with strategies to drive the goals

- Work closely with management to ensure the capability development of each team member.

- Lead the Process and provide development in short term and long-term operations performed

- Responsible for the development of workforce

- Review performance of the Team Leads/PEs / Analyst and responsible for conducting training or development opportunities for them.

- Drive initiatives in the teams and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED (including education, experience and skills)

- PG / MBA / Graduate with minimum 8+ years of work experience, predominantly in the USA residential / Commercial mortgage industry with in-depth knowledge of entire loan life cycle. Commercial mortgage knowledge will be an advantage.

- (US) Mortgage or Mortgage Insurance experience is an added advantage for the success of this project

- Exposure towards USA mortgage regulatory guidelines

- Experience in handling multiple teams within the respective vertical.

- Active participation in Process improvement, Performance management and Solutions

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and to manage multiple deadlines

- Willing to work in US Shifts.

- Communicate effectively across the organization and to customers.

- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

- Must be able to think outside the box in researching problems and provide workable solutions as needed.

- Lead/collaborate with others to drive the success of the team/department / organization.
