Operations Manager/Operation Head
Location: Bangalore
Experience : 7 to 20 Years
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process Management:
- Design, implement, and manage operational processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance productivity and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all critical operations.
2. Systems Management:
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of operational systems and software.
- Ensure all systems are integrated effectively and are functioning optimally.
- Work with IT and software vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
3. Operations Oversight:
- Manage daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
4. Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of operations staff, providing guidance and support.
- Conduct training sessions to ensure staff are knowledgeable about processes and systems.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance within the team.
5. Project Management:
- Lead and manage operational projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management within the [insurance/mutual fund/PMS] industry.
- Strong knowledge of operational processes, systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in process improvement and systems optimization.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, project management software).
