Job Opportunity with Leading Investment Bank for Fund Accounting (8-15 yrs)

Recon skill ( Fund Accounting or Recon background experience)

Operations Mgr - Fund Accounting - Grade K

- Experience in the financial services industry, of which a preferred minimum of 5 years will have been in a senior line management capacity Business Graduate highly desirable.

- Excellent people management skills.

- Ability to understand and interpret securities trade processing systems.

- Excellent relationship management skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Review and ensure that team is functioning in accordance with the agreed SLA with the line of business

- Ensure that reconciliations between accounting and custody and out of bank reconciliations are being performed timely and accurately.

- Manage the assigned team on a day-to-day basis to ensure all tasks are completed. Escalate any NAV exposure items immediately to Risk Management/Control Management as well as FA senior management. Ensure that all operational and people management issues are dealt with in a timely manner

- Ensure operational control, identify failures and provide solutions

- Regularly liaise with the onshore line of business to develop necessary extra controls or system changes

- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, Ability to prioritize, manage and organize heavy daily workload

- Provide consolidated feedback for specific assignments to Management after liaising with other Team Leaders

- Motivate team and contribute to team spirit

- Monitor quality of processing in cooperation with Team leaders and the LOB through regular spot checks

- Verify that all procedure documentation is updated at all times
