Purpose of the job:
This role is based at Delhi with first four months training at Mumbai

To maximise the performance of Restaurant Managers ensuring delivery of area business plan supporting the overall company mission and achieving profitability through strong and effective leadership
Key Accountabilities:
Operational Delivery
- Embed the company vision “Pizza in Style“ and brand across the operational area
- Drive first class service standards across the area ensuring full delivery of area business plan supporting the overall business strategy
- Undertake and report on area trends and ensure that all key event launch initiatives are fully embedded within the area
- To monitor and manage performance objectives that both stretch and challenge direct reports, maximising commercial potential
- Effectively deliver all relevant PE communications to the area through reporting RM’s
- Within area to manage, drive, monitor and respond to audits delivering full compliance, risk management and overall ensure that best practice within operations is fully delivered
- Deliver against any allocated projects, new openings and transformations at a local level, mapping and allocating local resources appropriately and ensuring that all are launched as per PE standards and delivered on time
- Ensuring that all restaurants within the area are appropriately covered during identified peak shifts by qualified members of the Restaurant management teams and as post holder lead by example and be active within the area during these core times
- Ensure that our customers remain at the heart of everything we do and that we incorporate information from customer feedback within the region
Commercial
- Maximise the commercial potential of the area through the delivery of 'one best way' practices
- Successfully manage area P& L and turnover ensuring full delivery of the bottom line
- Communicate to Restaurant management on business performance (KPI’s), new initiatives and commercial development opportunities
- With the support of Finance and Business Analyst, manage annual budgeting and planning process that will deliver efficiencies and cost saving benefits to the area
- Deliver consistent exceptional audit results building an “audit ready” culture
Leadership
- Provide inspirational leadership to a team of Restaurant Managers and supporting Assistant Managers that results in the celebration of success and personal development as welll as robust succession plans for individuals within the team
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships across stakeholder groups aligned to company’s values and principles
- Maximise internal and external relationships, influencing and gaining commitment to the company agenda
- Recruit, develop and retain top talent that ensures competitive advantage within the hospitality industry and establishes our position as an “ Employer of Choice”
- Develop and drive succession plans for the area that ensure a high quality talent pipeline
- Effectively manage poor performance that minimizes tribunal risk through effective use of available resources.
Scope and scale of role:
- Ideally up to 10-12 restaurants in NCR in next 2-3 years, up to 600 employees; with varying turnover dependant on area (approx ave of Rs. 5-6 cr pa per restaurant)
- Extensive travel within the area
- Potential of up to 15 direct reports
Knowledge, skills and experience:
- Proven track record of delivery within a highly competitive, customer focused, cost driven environment
- Currently operating at senior level and able to demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills
- Should hold proven experience of P&L management which should have been ideally for a large operation at a regional level
- Should be able to demonstrate strong financial acumen
- Experienced in implementing business change
Profile
Hotel Management / Graduate level of education or equivalent an advantage but not a prerequisite (depending on the profile and organisations worked with)
- 10-12 years in multi-national QSR chains like Yum, McDonald’s, Domino’s (with exposure to fine or casual dining/ hospitality)
- Initial hospitality experience will be an added advantage
- While background within restaurant/ hospitality is ideal, however, role also represents opportunity for transition from a food, FMCG, contract catering or retail organisation
