Job Location: Pune

Job Description:

The requirement of this position is refrigeration experience. The major work will be maintenance of refrigeration and handle refrigeration related issues.

1. To deliver and manage projects assigned by the company in line with project management methodologies for the Plants at Pune & Kala Amb and as may be required.

2. To lead and manage the day-to-day operation and activities of the Maintenance Department, which are core refrigeration activities, by providing technical advice and solutions, in execution of servicing and maintenance for all plant and factory equipment, ventilation and lighting and general factory technical resources, to support the effective and efficient production and general factory operation.

3. Coordinate internal and external resources associated with the delivery of assigned projects. Involvement to freeze the plant layout for unidirectional flow of man
and material.

4. To manage project budget allocation for assigned projects, including preparation of financial status reports for the Plant Head.

5. To work in close cooperation with Production Departments as to timing of scheduled and non-schedule servicing and maintenance work ensuring efficient and minimum disruption to production runs.

6. To participate in the Plant Management Team, taking part in regular management and planning meetings to contribute to the delivery of company objectives

7. To coordinate for all procurement activity associated with the delivery of assigned projects, registration of procurement activity and to ensure all relevant policies and procedures are adhered to.

8. To ensure optimal management and utilization of financial and human resources allocated to assigned projects.

9. Ensure smooth & cost effective installation & commissioning of Utility systems like steam generations & distribution system, Refrigeration Systems (Chillers),HVAC systems, Water treatment systems (purified water, WFI, Pure steam generation plants, Cooling towers, Compressed Air, Nitrogen gas generation systems.

10. Preparation of inspection report & recommendation of equipment’s & machinery Suppliers, vendor evaluation and Price negotiation.

11. Co-ordination with Consultant and vendors for Preparation of equipment’s & machinery, layout drawings, site master file layouts, HVAC and piping layouts.

12. Supervising, monitoring, inspecting, measurement verification & bills processing of Electrical contractors, Mechanical and piping contractors, HVAC contractors, Civil Contractors etc.

13. Preparing defective & punch list on the work executed by the contractors & ensuring rectification work is done to the accepted standards.

14. Inspect, verify & ensure the quality standards prescribed by the consultant are carried out by all the contractors

15. Monitor progress of projects to ensure that milestones and performance indicators are met as per required standards.

16. Direct and coordinate the development of strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented project outcomes and provide advice on remedial action.

17. To prepare project status reports and other reports required as per project management methodologies.
