Job description :
Lead a Pellet Plant team of operation, process, maintenance & QC, Implementation of best practices in shop floor management, Adoption of latest tools like IoT, Machine learning, etc., for enhancing productivity & workplace safety.

Education :
UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Metallurgy
Product:
- Review processing schedules/production orders to make decisions on inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints
- Direct and coordinate operations as per the planning schedule
- Direct administrative activities directly related to making products or providing services.
- Standardize operating procedures within the plant
- Review operations and resolve production/processing problems.
- Paperless shopfloor management using the latest IT tools
Quality
- Monitor production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, or other operational reports, to detect production problems.
- Monitor production standards according to the buyer requirements, examining samples of raw products or directing testing during processing, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality.
- Review plans and confer with research or support staff to develop new products or processes.
- Maintain current knowledge of the field, relying on current literature pertaining to materials use, technological advances, or statistical studies.
Resource Management
- Prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties.
- Develop budgets ensuring that materials, labor, or equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets.
- Initiate or coordinate inventory or cost control programs.
- Develop and program manage performance management programs for the entire factory.
Development
- Complete required training hours as prescribed by his/her superior, transmitted by HR
- Conduct 1-on-1 meetings for development with subordinates
- Conduct performance appraisals on time
- Constant Improvements in the plant as per the latest technological advancements as per the cost-benefit analysis
Compliance
- Coordination with the central compliance team to ensure all compliance issues are solved on time
- Ensure all audits (announced or unannounced) get 100% pass
- Ensure health and safety standards as per compliance

- Skilled in organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning
- Knowledge of prevailing labour laws, EHS requirements in plant operations
