Operations Consultant

Experience :

- 8 - 12 years of experience in running profit centers for QSR, Retail, FMCG etc the Consulting space with expertise in Operations Consulting for Retail/Food Retail/FMCG etc. with proven ability to influence key stakeholders and maintain relationships; solid track record in financial management.

Education : Top 10 Premier B schools, (IIM's) ISB, IIFT, MDI, FMS, SP Jain, XLRI

Purpose :

- To act as a Champion of consumer experience, drive Brand strategy, support expansion, ensure sales plans are achieved and world class people & operating standards are met.

Duties and Core Responsibilities :

Operations Excellence :

- Ensures Consumer experience at all levels and champions processes, systems, tools and measures which drive great operations.

- Ensures people capability at all level to maintain brand standards.

- Acts as a culture leader for the Brand.

- Adopts & Drives Technology led initiatives and processes for world class operations.

- Directs the development of basic policies and plans, both long and short term to ensure the accomplishment of the organizations objectives.

- Evaluates systems and procedures in order to increase operational efficiencies and profitability.

- Establishes benchmark cost ratios for the Standard Operation Procedures for each store and monitors these to ensure that they are implemented and followed by each department in the units and analyzes and appraises regularly the effectiveness of units.

- Work closely with the QA Leader and take responsibility for identifying critical parameters of food safety and product quality and drive them to maintain expected standard.

Profit Maximisation :

- Identifies potential opportunities and threats and assists the leadership team in pre-empting them.

- All aspects of managing sales and profit margins and annual budgets.

- Evaluating costs related to resources, both human and material, to maximize performance and efficiency.

- Supervise and report on annual budgetary and quarterly forecasting processes.

Strategic Insights :

- Conduct competitive analysis, collate data ensuring alignment with F&B trends and market price

- Responsible for the business strategy and goal setting.

- Identifying strategies for overall customer experience thru seamless quality control processes, Upkeep of assets, Speed of Service etc.

- Keeping abreast of diversity in the business environment both locally and international

- Defines Vision thru a strategy that is intended to establish the company's direction and focus.

- Should be able to do a SWOT analysis and recommend strategic actions.

- Should be able to persuade stakeholders on adopting industry best practices/trends etc.

- Demonstrates an understanding of those aspects of the hospitality/retail environment that impact on own area.

- Ensures potential business benefits are realized through implementation of change initiatives

- Analyses and challenges the use of resources against business objectives

- Is competent on building business cases and presenting the same to gain alignments.
