The aim of this job is to contribute the effective management of distressed relationships in HSBC Asia Pacific, mainly Hong Kong, by providing Operational Support on a day-to-day basis while based in an offshore location - Kolkata. The job also involves assisting the management of the centralized LMU function for the region in the GSC environment.
The jobholder shall have the following responsibilities:-
- Interact within the department to effectively provide service to customers and assistance to Managers.
- Establish and maintain contact with relevant external professionals.
- Complete all customer and Manager transactions, requests and enquiries in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare the review process for a number of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME), Business Banking (BB) and Corporate problem accounts to maximize recoveries.
- Calculate and report Impairments for problem accounts.
- Prepare and produce related reports as required.
- Ensure Treating Customers Fairly principles is considered in accordance with the 6 Customer Outcomes. Provide guidance and training to the new joiners who join offshore Asia-Pacific Risk teams from time to time
- Development & generation of MI to monitor quality / quantity of outputs
- Ensure business continuity and stability
