Job Role: Team Member- Operational Risk Management - Outsourcing Risk- NBFC
Job Location: Mumbai
Job Purpose :
- Manage and maintain an effective Outsourcing Risk Framework.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for vendors providing financial services.
- Identify, evaluate, control and mitigate the organization wide operational risks by developing a pre- emptive control strategy.
- Provide support to units in conducting process and procedure reviews, User Acceptance Test from OR perspective.
- Be a point of reference for business units and share knowledge and skills.
Principal Accountabilities :
- Coordinating and performing reviews of third party outsourced vendors like repo agents, collection agents, yard agencies, etc
- Coming up with ideas and presenting them via reports and presentations, and making suggestions or recommendations for improvements and enhancements based on research or findings.
- Regular review of complaints against the vendor (risk events) reported and perform root cause analysis in consultation with business units.
- Identification of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and regular monitoring and reporting of KRI breaches to senior management.
- Tracking of action plans developed and monitor the closure of the same within timelines.
- Supporting in automation of the vendor management process.
Internal Interface : All Business
Skills : CA / MBA / PG preferred
- Strong analytical skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Prior experience in vendor management would be preferred.
- In addition, the incumbent must possess softer skills such as
- Strong team working skills.
- Business acumen & drive for results
Relevant Operational risk experience : 3- 4 years. Total experience - 6- 8 years
