Job Description: Social Media Content Writer

Functions:

- Search for curated news from Cdn / North American media sources in specific subject areas as directed

- Draft social media updates for clients based on curated content, as gathered from news sources (per above)

- Prepare and execute emails to target influencers (based on supplied list of influencers)

- Engage in and manage email dialogue with influencers as required

- Produce ad hoc reports for client, as requested, using Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Sendible and other digital / social media reporting tools

- Day-to-day monitoring of account (log in to client's profile, make sure there aren't any urgent messages/to-do's)

Technical requirements / qualifications:

- Excellent written and spoken English language skills

- Familiarity with managing business/organizational social media accounts - preferably 2-4 years

- Experience with Google Analytics, Sprout Social and Sendible

- Ability to execute on request and fulfill services on an urgent, as-needed basis - usually within 24-48 hours
