Role- Analyst/Senior Analyst (Online Analytics)

Experience- 1 to 6 yrs

Location: Bangalore

Client: Research and innovation driven business unit

Education: PHD fresher’s only/Masters with minimum 1 yr experience / BE / B.Tech

Field of graduate education – Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering. Computer Science a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Technical / Functional Skills:

- Hands on experience on R and Matlab

- Deliver Predictive Analytics, Data Mining, Text Mining, Machine Learning driven products and solutions to clients

- Builds models in the broad areas of data mining/text mining/optimization

- Works with product engineering teams to implement these models into products

- Experience in an online product development space a plus

- Passion and deep technical competency in quantitative methods and/or business analytics

- Background in working with web analytics/web log mining a big plus

- Proven ability to build models requiring specialized knowledge of machine learning, data-mining, text-mining, web mining, Artificial intelligence, pattern recognition, Optimization and Advanced Statistics

- Experience in using open source tools such as R, Weka, GATE, Cluto, Rapid Miner, Lucene

- Hands on experience in model building and coding

- Excellent computation and data management skills. Experience handling voluminous data
