Onecode - Associate - Legal

Responsibilities

- Act as an advisor on product regulatory strategies in collaboration with other

stakeholders within the organization

- Stay updated on regulatory changes that may impact the company. This may include changes as per RBI guideline or compliance with any other regulatory requirements

- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and other documentation with our customers (banking and fintech companies) and vendors

- Review and tracking of any modifications that are required to be made in the terms of service, privacy policy and other documentation in relation to existing or new lines of business

- Develop and implement processes for efficient and streamlined operations surrounding contract negotiation and execution

- Build and maintain contract management systems, templates, and other databases

Requirements

- 3-5 years of legal experience with a minimum of 2+ years at a renowned law firm in

India, preferably in fintech, banking and finance domain

- A law degree from a leading university or law school.

- Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial contracts.

- Expertise in India's Fintech regulations

- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with business teams to analyze business processes

- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail

- Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and autonomously on both high level projects and the day-to-day requirements and paperwork

- Actively seeks challenges, enjoys being challenged, and exhibits sound judgement in

ambiguous circumstances

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

- Accustomed to dealing with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

- Proven ability to collaborate successfully across cross functions.
