Your responsibilities :
- Onboarding new employees, create/maintain Staff personnel file/records and update Workday, managing the personal files of all staff;
- Liaise with outsource agent in monthly payroll payment and staff leave matters;
- On-board new staff and manage staff departures (e.g. final payroll and return of bank property)
- Prepare letters (Offer, Confirmation, Promotion, Termination, Warning, Letter of employment etc)
- Ensure all regulatory obligations in relation to payroll are met;
- Handle Group insurance matters, ensuring all new joiners are covered, leavers are removed and escalations related to employee's Mediclaim reimbursement are handled in time;
- Operate monthly payroll running for India including the calculation of salary, income tax, allowance, STVR, etc. and coordinate with finance for timely payment and journal posting;
- Interact with compliance and payroll vendor on regular & ad hoc HR matters such as monthly and annual tax filing, PF filing, POSH filing etc.
- Execute HR operations tasks for India, incl. staff on-boarding / exiting, probation, promotion, leave management, etc;
- Answer HR enquiries from staff / H.O. regarding local HR practice / policies;
- Derive insights from data and convert these insights into relevant and impactful actions;
- Support and seek opportunities to streamline, re-engineer, standardize and automate HR processes to achieve synergy and cost savings without compromising service quality;
- Maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, etc
- Drive adoption of employee and manager self-service within client group;
- Be an active and contributing HR team member, especially with respect to excelling in customer service, simplifying processes and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement;
- Collaborate across HR to share insights and knowledge;
- Partner with HR CoEs/Specialists as required;
- Assist India HR to build credibility and trust with senior leaders as an advisor who effectively gives quality advice and follows through on commitments
