Designation: General Manager - Operations
Optimal work experience: 6-7 years. Prior experience in a start-up with mature revenue would strengthen your case. We are looking for professionals with process maturity and sufficient agility to thrive in a high acceleration environment. You must love process design, planning and have an eye for detail. You must have the flair for metrics driven execution. You must be an expert on XL, PPT and should have ideally worked with an ERP. You must have a flair for vendor negotiations.
Qualification: Bachelors and MBA is a must.

We are a very fast paced hungry B2B business with a unique product proposition. The role requires an experienced hand to create organizational capacity for high quality, high velocity customer facing transactions. While it is impossible to summarize everything you will do, here is a sampler:
- Quote to Cash Management: Re-design and execute sales order management process to improve order process efficiency. Coordinate between sales, sales accounts, and logistics to ensure accurate and on-time order fulfillment, order communication, pricing and discount management, risk management. While daily receivables management is the direct responsibility of sales managers, you will be accountable for a robust receivables management process. Besides Hardware sales, Omnicomm has a Saas based software model. You will manage software usage-based metering and billing.
- Sales Process automation: responsible for successful planning and execution of sales accounting projects such as SAP implementation in coordination with corporate Office.
- Warehousing & RMA Management: Work with logistics providers to optimize inventory management. You will be accountable for stocking norms, logistics processes, vendor management, contract reviews and optimization. You will be responsible for warehouse and logistics audits. You will also work with technical support group to manage stocks returns, RMA and warranty governance. Support marketing for efficient management of marketing collateral and demo equipment.
- Sales ordering & Import process management: Accountable for consolidating sales order forms and reordering. Accountable for efficient and cost effective import process management including coordination with exporter, CHA, warehouse to ensure smooth import process, paperwork, customs clearance and import compliance management. You will also work with accounts to ensure proper documentation and compliance of FEMA and RBI norms.
- Contracts Legal & Compliance: You will be the custodian of all re-seller and vendor contracts. Work with the legal service provider to roll out new contracts and review existing ones. You will ensure we are fully compliant with all workplace and industry norms.
- People & Office Management: Accountable for designing and running all people processes. Includes working with business head to plan resource hiring, compensation reviews in line with Annual Operating plan. Plan and execute HR policies and procedures. Ensure safe and motivating workplace practices and statutory compliance. Guide service providers to implement payroll, leave administration, hiring and contract management.
