As lead for sell side operations of the procurement business, you will ensure that we are successful in selling cars to the used cars dealers from our auction platform. You'll manage a team of team leaders for auction and after-sales operations, working with dealer relationship managers, a warehousing team, a documentation team and operations executives. Sell side lead is the single contact to ensure that all cars that are bought from the customer are sold to the dealer and we are left with minimum/nil inventory. Furthermore, getting participation from the dealers, expanding the transacting dealer base and sale of cars at a minimum threshold margin is also the responsibility of the sell side lead.
You will report to City Head.
What you will do -
- Manage the entire dealer network/liquidation of procured cars to the dealers
- Acquire and onboarding used car dealers who would participate in auctions with the objective of procuring used cars
- Lead a team of DRMs to ensure retail expansion and constant participation from dealers
- Lead teams to manage backend operations - warehousing, paperwork and last leg delivery of vehicles in compliance with processes.
Who we're looking for -
- 6+ years of managerial experience in sales and operations role with experience scaling up business operations.
- Prior experience managing multi-layered sales teams.
- Hands on leader with the desire to get hands dirty with daily operations in a bid to increase the business.
- Team member management.
- Manage complete department concerning P&L shall be required.
- Knowledge of used car business.
