Role:
- Our India operations is looking for a dynamic HR practitioner to lead India HR team and drive core human resources initiatives, including Talent Management, Rewards and Recognition, Organizational Effectiveness and Inclusion, Diversity and Equity.
- The role involves developing extensive understanding of our business and deep knowledge of all human resources operations to ensure they are strategically aligned with critical business goals.
- The incumbent will play the vital role of facilitating talent acquisition, onboarding, development and retention at individual, team and organizational levels, so as to drive business performance, team engagement and instill the desired organizational culture.
- As a strategic HR Business Partner, the incumbent will be responsible for building strong relationships and systemic network with internal and external stakeholders, build localized mechanisms to drive optimal performance, in compliance with global HR directives and national policies and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Partner with country, business and Regional HR leadership to understand local business environment and work priorities to develop innovative solutions, in HR and workplace management, taking reference from global directives.
- Lead the India HR team in the various site locations and central HR team to manage HR strategies and priorities in India, working in calibration with the regional HR team
- Be a champion ofi signature people processes towards strengthening HR's role in Employee Advocacy and enhancing Employee Value Proposition.
- Manage and standardize of full-range global HR processes in the country, across employee lifecycle.
- Nuance a robust and sustainable HR system, together with people processes and activities to facilitate effective employee experience, talent engagement and performance towards business outcomes.
- Leverage on objective data to ideate, experiment and implement positive change initiatives for enhancing employee morale and retention.
- Curate, establish and maintain an open HR architecture to keep abreast of best industry practices, refresh existing partnerships, explore unconventional synergies to stay ahead of future-oriented talent and organizational development trends.
- Own Inclusivity, Diversity and Equity (IDE) agenda to push gender diverse talent strategy as ofi transforms into a globally recognized future-focused high-performing organization.
- Lead grievance management processes in partnership with legal and industrial relations team.
Requirements:
- MBA in HR from a reputable institute, with at least 13-15 years of HR leadership experience in a global organization.
- Strong business acumen and ability to engage business stakeholders to prioritize key people strategies.
- Proven HR business partner experience with demonstrated track record of change management and good working knowledge of employment laws and employment regulatory practices for manufacturing plants and corporate offices.
- Ability to adapt individual leadership, HR processes and networks across varied work-settings including corporate office, manufacturing plants, Center of Expertise-type entities etc.
- Prior experience in workforce re-design and change management, in fast-growth business environment preferred.
- Ability to build strategic partnerships, internally and externally and collaborates across the organization to maximize outcomes.
- A People Champion who can manage the tension between business goals and employee development, wellness.
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to deal with change, manage multiple priorities while ensuring timely and successful execution and impact evaluation for sustainability.
- Strong experience managing union relations and at least one cycle of long-term settlement is required.
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written, in English. Able to communicate at all levels, contextualize communication style and approach.
