Olam - F&A Delivery Lead

Olam Information Services Pvt Ltd (OISL) is the captive IT and ITES subsidiary of Olam International. OISL headquartered in Chennai and services the global IT and process requirements of Olam. Over the past few years, OISL has evolved into a diverse technology service provider which technologies including global SAP implementation and rollout, Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence solution, Global Trading & Risk Management solutions and Communication & Collaboration Systems. On the KPO (ITES) side OISL has been servicing the global Finance and Accounts, Risk and Compliance Management processes for the company.

Position Specification

The F&A Delivery Lead position’s main responsibilities would include -

- Build and lead the global F&A processes for the KPO. This will involve setting up and transitioning processes to KPO, building the teams, Process Delivery (Setting the process, metrics & SLAs) and business engagement.

- Ensure that the scale-up, top line & productivity goals for the team are met, including service level, utilization and customer satisfaction. Manage the operational requirements of the customer on a daily basis.

- Facilitate generation of ideas, analyze operational risks, address customer escalations and work with other KPO leads to mitigate risks and establish common goals to deliver value to the business.

- Business engagement & development

- Identify & implement process improvement opportunities within KPO.

- Introduce the processes& practices complaint with CMMi-SVC Level 3, and aim for certification in a year or two.

Skills & Experience Required

- Premier MBA/CA with 12 to 18 years of relevant overall experience with at least 3 years of experience in setting and scaling up KPO processes.

- Solid experience in process offshoring in the Shipping and Logistics domains.

- Ability to influence & interface with C-level executives.

- Prior experience in a captive setup is preferred.

- Position is based in Chennai and will require frequent travelling.
