The Branch Manager role will involve managing day to day activity of the current business in the country including processing, quality, shipments and logistics. It's a well-rounded role that gives the experience of managing a large business in one of the fastest growing origins.

Business Operations:

- Design, implement and manage the Strategy for the product in the country with the respective teams below him to drive and deliver volumes as per the overall business plan.

- Optimize utilization of processing and quality resources in the country to derive maximum capacity utilization and efficiencies and to eliminate controllable losses and minimize the impact of non-controllable losses

- Support in implementation of the required infrastructure to deliver volumes as per the business plan

Finance:

- Credit Exposure

- Pricing Strategies

- Transfer Pricings

- Forwards / Future/ Hedging

- Working Capital Management

Position Management:

- Help & support business head to make trading and position management decisions by providing adequate and timely market information

- Ensure high motivational levels in the team and get the team aligned with the overall cocoa strategy that we follow in country

- Interface with appropriate regulatory bodies for obtaining permissions, approvals, etc.

Person Characteristics:

- If you have proven experience in managing, Supply Chain or Distribution role in emerging markets.


- Exposure to Micro & Macroeconomic factor of business environment would therefore require a strong conceptual and analytical bend of mind to operate in international business environment

To be successful you will:

- Have the patience to win large customers with long sales cycle times

- Be resilient and be able to overcome challenges whilst remaining calm and collected

- Have an ownership mindset! Although there are some shared common support teams, the role does not directly manage a team and is personally accountable for managing key accounts. Customer and stakeholder management must therefore be of the highest order.
