About the role

The Collections Strategy and Risk Management Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving the company's financial success by devising and implementing effective collections strategies, and mitigating potential risks.

With a demonstrated expertise in data analysis using tools like SQL, Python, R, and Excel, the specialist will leverage these skills to derive valuable insights and inform decision-making.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement collections strategies to maximize revenue recovery while maintaining customer satisfaction.

- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, making recommendations for improvement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute risk management plans, ensuring regulatory compliance.

- Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Develop and present reports and data visualizations to senior management, providing clear and actionable insights.

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of collections and risk management strategies, making adjustments as necessary.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in collections strategy and risk management.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel.

- Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop teams.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement.

- Understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management principles.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
