Roles & Responsibilities



- Led a team of 2-3 members to drive group research in the following areas and work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, strategy, and operations, to support business initiatives, provide research-backed insights, and facilitate effective communication for informed decision-making

- Analyze the financial performance of companies within the corporate group, including assessing financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and economic factors impacting business operations

- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of market trends, industry dynamics, and competitive landscapes to provide strategic insights and recommendations for key internal stakeholders

- Prepare comprehensive research reports, whitepapers, and presentations that summarize findings, insights, and strategic recommendations for senior management and stakeholders.

- Gather, manage, and analyze financial and operating datasets from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy for generating key industry and market insights

- Work with business leaders on key strategic projects like expansion through new initiatives, launch of new products/services, etc.

- Lead and drive engagement for any potential M&A opportunities, which can complement the group's businesses

- External Stakeholders - Institutional Equity Analysts, Industry Experts, Consultants etc.

Educational Qualifications

- MBA from Tier 1 college or CFA (all levels cleared)

- 6+ years of overall experience, with at least 4+ years experience in Equity Research as Sell-side/Buy-side Analysts with coverage of 1) India Automobile and/or New Energy and 2) India Internet and Technology

- Graduation in Engineering is preferred but not mandatory
