OJ Commerce Inc. is a fast-growing retailer serving the US market through OJ Commerce.com and various market places such as Amazon, Walmart, and eBay. OJ Commerce is a privately held, profitable company headquartered in Miami, Florida, USA with a dedicated back-office in Chennai, India.

Job Description:

- The CTO will lead the Information Technology function which includes application development, business intelligence, and operations. We are looking for a hands-on leader to lead a small team (10-15) of high-caliber technology professionals.

- All systems are custom-built in-house with most applications built on MS Platform (SQL Server 2019, .NET (ASP/C#/VB) MSBI). Open-source applications in Linux environment are deployed for some applications like EDI, Phone system, Website search (ELK stack).

- The applications are diverse with integrations to multiple channels/marketplaces and hundreds of vendors/service providers through API/EDI/FTP and other custom applications.

- We are looking for a Technology Leader with the ability to get things done on-time consistently in a dynamic environment with multiple projects and overlapping goals and objectives. Take ownership for the whole end-to-end delivery and maintenance of all applications.

- Develop technology architecture that enables and drives new business capabilities and operating models. Lead all aspects of technology implementation and modification activities.

- Develop strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities, presenting analysis, and recommending objectives.

- Research industry trends and best practices and develop recommendations of technologies and methods to stakeholders at all levels. Participate in code reviews to ensure code delivered aligns to agreed-upon principles, design, etc., and satisfies the stated business need.

Qualifications / Requirements:

- The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in strategy, planning & implementation of technology

- Strong experience in IT, with exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments and an excellent understanding of various disciplines such as application development, middleware, servers and storage, database management, infrastructure, and operations.

- Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of existing, new, and emerging technologies that enable and drive new business designs and models. A proven ability to build, mentor and lead successful technology teams.
