The opening is for Head of Planning at Phoenix Ogilvy, Sri Lanka.

Role:

- The primary role of the candidate will be to lead the planning function. He/she would be responsible for defining the brand (& business) strategy across all key brands. This obviously means focus on creating campaigns which are creatively endearing as well as effective in the marketplace. He/she would also lead manage new business pitches. He/she will be working along with the heads of servicing (there are 3 among whom all the brands are distributed) and head of creative & report directly to the Chairman, Mr Irvin Weerackody. In addition to leading the planning function, it'd be great if the candidate can also act as a mentor (sort-of!) for account management teams, supporting and guiding them.

Expectations:

- The candidate should be from India.

- He/she can be a servicing person with 8-10 years experience (but possess a sound strategic mind) or can be a planner with 6-8 years experience.
