Offshore Development Centre Head for Automotive Client
About the Position:
We are looking for a dynamic leader to head our Offshore Development Centre for a combination of services (e.g., Cloud, Infra, Application Development, Customer Experience, .) in Bengaluru and managing all aspects of Project deliverables, Customer and Stakeholder service, and Operations.
What you will do:
- You will lead the strategic design, acquisition, management and implementation of enterprise-wide application development, cloud services, Infra services, customer experience solutions and digital/mobile technology solutions under the ODC framework
- Deliver projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress and quality, managing risks / issues, and taking corrective action as necessary to meet project deadlines.
- Deliver IT solutions according to ITIL, DevOps, SDLC, Agile, PMI, PCI, and Security best practices.
- This includes successful organizational design, hiring & managing talent, performance and compensation management, training & developing team capabilities and growing individual skillsets.
- Oversee the management of operations, deliverables to have better efficacy.
- Driving the cost efficiency of the center, maximizing the Business Units throughput & productivity and focus on the inclusive culture of the company.
- Deliver consistently high customer satisfaction, measured through formal and informal feedback.
- Manage and mitigate risks across Technical and Operational processes and customer servicing functions.
- Enhance the workplace through leadership, employee engagement and personnel development.
- Work with business partners to accurately forecast and support business growth strategies.
- Work with Service Delivery Manager / Project Managers closely to adopt customer friendly strategies to execute timeliness in project deliverables.
Qualifications required for your success:
- A minimum of 20-25 years of Experience in a similar role in IT Services / Software Industry. MBA in General Management would be add-on advantage
- The ideal candidate should have done his engineering from a premium institute
- Project Management Qualifications (PMP, Agile and relevant Certifications, etc.)
- Experience in establishing and maturing a ODC from the beginning to at least 500 strong team, with combination of services (e.g., Cloud, Infra, Application development, Customer Experience)
- 10-12 years of professional experience in managing all aspects (Delivery & operations) of an ODC
- Ability to clearly craft, communicates, measure, and manage expectations of all relevant stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships
- Excellent team development and management skills
- Project Management experience required - Agile method preferred
- Demonstrated record of success in a goal-oriented, highly accountable, agile environment
