Calling leadership aspirants for an exciting role with a maverick firm in the logistics market
The role is a shadow CEO role, managing the functions for that position with an impetus on the execution of strategic initiatives and business growth.
Purpose:
- To identify new opportunities for business growth and to design and implement strategies that will facilitate rapid and large scale expansion of the business.
- To work in tandem with the CEO on any strategic initiative being driven by him
1. Key Responsibilities:
a. Business Development (50% weightage)
i. Identify and help build strategic partnerships to expand the business.
ii. Identify new models to expand the business - Incumbent to focus on financing and rental models to expand business with potential customers.
iii. Identify opportunities and formulate strategies to expand the business into new geographies (national and international)
iv. Identify gaps and explore opportunities for new products to enhance existing product range. Incumbent to be responsible for identifying demand, conducting competitive analysis and product decisions(how does product fit with clean tech goals, product differentiation, PLC)
v. Devise strategies to facilitate initial sales for new and existing products. Key responsibilities in this space would include identification of distribution channels, marketing collateral, market segments, positioning, pricing & pricing strategy, promotion, digital marketing and budgets for the same
b. Strategic Initiatives : (50% weightage)
i. Work with CEO on any specific initiatives that need to be driven through the organization or externally.
ii. Assistance in Managing investor relations and in potential fund raise
2. Personal Profile:
a. Qualification:
- Tier 1 MBA with 3-5 years exposure to running and management of small/medium sized business.
- B.Tech or BE or higher degree in engineering preferred.
- Strong analytical skills mandatory
- Prior experience in similar roles preferred

Given the nature of a start-up environment, incumbent would be required to take up any additional responsibility that would be deemed necessary for the business at any point in time. Responsibilities stated here are subject to review every 6 - 8 months.
