Ofbusiness - Category Manager - ERW Pipes Segment

The ERW Pipes Category Manager is responsible for the successful launch and growth of the ERW Pipes category within the Pipes division. This includes developing and executing a strategic plan for the category, sourcing and managing supplier relationships, and developing and growing a customer base.

Responsibilities:

1) Develop and execute a strategic plan for the ERW Pipes category, including identifying target markets, developing product specifications, and setting sales and profit goals.

2) Research and identify potential suppliers of ERW Pipes.

3) Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities. Negotiate and manage supplier contracts.

4) Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at supplier companies.

5) Develop and execute a sales plan for ERW Pipes.

6) Identify and target potential customers.

7) Qualify and develop leads.

8) Close sales and manage customer relationships.

9) Track and report on sales performance.

10) Work with other departments, such as marketing and engineering, to support the launch and growth of the ERW Pipes
