Summary:
- Category within the Steel division. This includes developing and executing a strategic plan for the category, sourcing and managing supplier relationships, and developing and growing a customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying target markets, developing product specifications, and setting sales and profit goals.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at supplier companies.
- Identify and target potential customers.
- Qualify and develop leads.
- Close sales and manage customer relationships.
- Track and report on sales performance.
- Work with cross functional team.
Steel Division:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for the Flats / Pipes category, including
- Research and identify potential suppliers of Flats / Pipes.
- Develop and execute a sales plan for Flats / Pipes.
- Do the business development for the Flats / Pipes.
The person is responsible for the successful launch and growth of the Flats / Pipes.
