1. Government Liaison:

- Monitor and report on policy developments, legislative activities, and political trends relevant to the manufacturing sector.
3. Compliance Management:
- Ensure the manufacturing units adhere to all applicable government regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that compliance requirements are met, and all necessary documentation is maintained.
- Address any compliance issues or regulatory challenges by working closely with government authorities.
4. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategies for effective government relations, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives.
- Advocate for the company's interests by representing the manufacturing units in discussions with policymakers and government agencies.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities related to government policies and propose proactive measures to mitigate risks.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare detailed reports on government interactions, policy changes, and compliance status for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and meetings with government officials and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A Master's degree or relevant certification is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in government relations, public policy, or a related field, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of Indian government structures, regulatory frameworks, and policy-making processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials and politicians.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret complex policy documents.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
