Job Description

We are seeking a 3 PL sales professionals at Senior level based out of Mumbai to assist us in setting up a fresh business line @ 3 PL, fulfilling our strategic plan for growth. This is a great opportunity to grow with a winning team.

Responsibilities:

- Set up 3 PL business as a separate vertical.

- Manage P & L end to end

- Drive the sales team of healthy business growth

- Manage strategic solution sales aimed at increasing market share and ensuring revenue achievement and customer satisfaction and retention.

- Establish client specific value propositions.

- Prospect and identify new business opportunities, assess customer needs and recommend services based on supply chain evaluation.

- Establish new accounts through extensive territory management, research, pro-active calling and business relationships.

- Develop sales plans and accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.

- Coordinates with internal resources to ensure appropriate pricing and approvals of all sales and ensure overall cross functional solution coordination.

- Negotiates sales price and discounts

- Build relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and generating new business referrals.

- New account sales and growth to base through sales activities.

- Sales of emerging products and multi-product sales.

- Management of expenses of the area at a reasonable level.

- Business/financial issues on contracts.

- Travel Estimated at 50% - 60%

Desired Skills & Experience:

- Must have a minimum of ten (10) years experience selling/managing supply chain related services (3PL)

- Must have proven experience in solution sales.

- Sales experience in Warehousing/Transportation/Consolidation services.

- Bachelor's degree with MBA/PGDBM from top tier institutes in business, sales, or marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management preferred.

- Excellent time management, communications, decision-making, organization, human relations, presentation, negotiation, and mediation skills.

- Excellent analytic and problem solving skills.

- Professional appearance and presentation required.
