Primary Responsibilities :

- Management of the Contract Compliance claim process to ensure timely and accurate submission of applicable claims.

- Periodic follow up Contract Compliance insurers to determine status of claims previously filed.

- Ensure the accurate submission of documents associated to claims.

- Manage the process relative to Contract Compliance policies, boarding of new policies, payment of premiums each month, reconciliation of policy status.

- Accountable for daily operations in the Contract Compliance department.

- Ensure qualitative and quantitative standards are met, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions and analysis of the weekly/monthly production reports and monthly operations report in order to take steps that will bridge any shortfalls related to production/client requirements.

- Responsible for providing resolution to loan related inquiries from customers and other various customers or clients.

- Assertive management style, strong sense of urgency without sacrificing accuracy, tight control over the process, flexible, able to multi task and perform under pressure.

- Continually reviewing each individual process to ensure it is being completed in the most efficient and accurate manner.

- Continually train, lead, motivate and develop subordinate staff members.

- Perform periodic audits to ensure standards are being met.

Key Result Areas :

- Assess work flow and current procedures for post-closing and work with QC to ensure process is efficient.

- Oversee daily monitoring of all processes to ensure timeframes and production are maintained.

- Analyze, suggest, develop, and implement procedural change to improve efficiency and productivity.

- Maintain effective reports to track inventory, production and quality.

- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the department and works with other leaders to streamline and promote changes to existing policies and procedures in an effort to promote best practices and enhance productivity.

- Administer training, coaching and corrective measures to team members that promotes attainment goals and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications :

- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University is required

- Experience managing at least 15 Full-time employees in a previous role is required.

- 5-7 years of experience in process management or process transition role, performing operations and management duties is required

- Demonstrated knowledge of Government Claims is required

- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

- Must be comfortable with approximately 25% travel

Preferred Qualifications :

- Knowledge of SharePoint is preferred

- FHA Connection knowledge is preferred

- VA Loan Electronic Reporting Interface (VALERI) is preferred

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communications skills (oral and written) with the ability to deliver effective presentation.

- Fast learner, open to working in a dynamic work environment.

- Should be able to create and analyze basic data/reports and provide synopsis/summary of performance.

- Should be confident, possess an independent thought process, be willing to take initiative and has a strong sense of urgency.

- Should be able to adjust to change and come up with practical ideas for dealing with immediate and evolving business requirements.
