Responsibilities :

- The Senior Manager of Credit and Market Risk Analytics is expected to manage a team of 10+ professionals with analytically advanced backgrounds. The right candidate will have the ability to set, manage, and deliver on an innovative projects agenda through a team of senior analysts and managers.

- The candidate should be able to independently drive projects from the conceptual stage to implementation, as evidenced by prior experience. Good communication skills and ability to clearly articulate technical subject matter to an executive audience is required. Strong collaboration with U.S.-based business units will be required.

- The position reports to the Vice President of Credit and Market Risk Management. This position will play an important role in building the credit risk and market risk analytic decision framework that will be the engine of growth for the Lending business. The successful candidate will have experience working in the consumer credit industry with a quantitative background.

- Experience with delinquency and loss forecasting is desirable. The ideal candidate should be able to lead analysts in the design, initiation and tracking of champion-challenger strategies within our current systems and workflow environment.

- Another primary responsibility of this role will be to design, execute, and refine an enterprise-wide counterparty credit risk management framework and a set of methods to identify, measure, mitigate, and manage counterparty risk in alignment with Ocwen's risk tolerances and in compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies.

- Prior experience in Treasury and/or Capital Markets and knowledge of financial statement analysis is desirable. Ability to work collaboratively with staff in Treasury and Capital Markets operations will be required.

Key Result Areas :

- Development of quantitative and qualitative methods to enhance Ocwen's credit and market risk capabilities and performance.

- Periodic review and in-depth financial analysis of Ocwen's counterparties in coordination with Treasury and Capital Markets.

- Production of timely reports and proposals for Executives, Senior Management, Key Stakeholders, and Risk Committees.

- Developing an in-depth understanding and expertise of various functions of the Servicing and Originations enterprises and the company's risk reporting requirements

Qualifications :

- Master's degree from an accredited college, preferably IIM's.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail/consumer credit portfolio risk management and strategy.

- Familiarity with mortgage banking and Treasury and/or Capital Markets operations

- Ability to develop quantitative measurements/analysis to address multi-dimensional business needs

- Ability to communicate clearly and precisely on technical and business topics, effective collaboration skills to coordinate and work effectively with other departments

- Ability to lead and mentor others.

- Knowledge of SAS and/or SQL programming and Microsoft Office products.

- High level of professionalism, self-motivation and a strong sense of urgency.
