Responsibilities:
- Work with Senior Management to establish reporting controls around key metrics, manages inventory reporting
- Well versed with SQL and database management
- Manages team or around 10 people, work with business units to understand business requirements to provide control inputs and ensure in their implementation
- Coordinates and reviews complex projects within the department ensuring timely completion and analytical interpretation.
- Identify new sources of actionable data, data-capture mechanisms, and means of data-integration into databases. This includes Quality check during requirements gathering and design phase, and also during development and testing phases.
- Receives SQL Maps from Business Unit team. Analyze, review, and enter the source data into a formatted excel sheet using SQL tool. Adheres to the quality standards of the data being entered/recorded in the defined format
- Ensure Data integrity
- Improve identification, tracking and completion of deliverables and support project planning activities and ensure complete documentation of all events through the projects/remediation plans till closure.
- Ensure process compliance with all business rules and regulatory directives and adherence to all operational processes and procedures.
- Create dashboards or scorecards as needed to fulfill management needs; ensure that reporting identifies the adverse trends and also measures the results against appropriate benchmarks; should be able to analyze basic/complex data/reports and provide synopsis/summary of performances.
- Conduct extensive root cause analyses of all defects characterized by drivers such as gap in training, lack of process knowledge, behavioral issue, negligence leading to typo/oversight, ambiguous P&Ps, etc., each month and also track action plans to remediate these defects. Also, will calibrate with focus groups within BU & External QA teams for streamlining process gaps/opportunities.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in preparation of reconciliations and other activities and clearance of reconciling items and reduction in aging of reconciling items by having appropriate remediation/controls/training as required.
- Ability to take on special projects and seek out opportunities to improve service which exceeds customer expectations.
- Contribute by developing ideas to enhance automation and process improvements.

- Able to work on Oracle SQL tools/ TOAD application, to fetch data from the databases and add required fields on to the excel document.
- Hands on experience on how to use excel and formatting data
- Added advantage on residential and/or commercial mortgages would be a plus.
- Able to identify data on SQL and fetch data such as Source Field, SQL ID, Table Name, Schema Name, Database Name, Field description etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required. Preferably MBA from Tier I college
- 5 years plus of experience in Relevant experience. Strong problem-solving skills with ability to perform root cause and corrective action analyses.
- Worked for at least 5 years in database programming and design, preferable SQL
- PL/SQL and SSAS exposure
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Organization and time management skills: Candidate must have the ability to work independently and under occasional stressful conditions when meeting deadlines and with minimal guidance by management.
- Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel.
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
