About the Role:

As the State Head - Sales at NxtWave, you will be directly responsible for driving sales performance and business growth in your assigned state. You will lead a team of 4+ Manager-level professionals and 20+ Executives, overseeing the entire sales process from strategy to execution. Your primary focus will be on expanding NxtWave's offline presence, building strong relationships with educational institutions, and driving enrollment in NxtWave's programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to your state, focusing on offline channels. Drive revenue growth by expanding NxtWave's reach into schools, colleges, and other educational institutions.

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Managers and Executives, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to meet sales targets. Provide ongoing training and support to enhance their sales capabilities.

- Institutional Outreach: Identify and engage with key decision-makers in educational institutions. Present NxtWave's offerings, negotiate agreements, and secure partnerships to conduct student demos and enrollments.

- Market Expansion: Analyze market potential and identify new opportunities for business growth within your state. Develop and execute plans to penetrate new regions and increase market share.

- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, channel partners, and other relevant stakeholders. Ensure long-term collaboration and continuous business growth through these partnerships.

- Performance Monitoring: Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales KPIs. Provide insights, feedback, and coaching to your team to ensure consistent achievement of targets and overall business objectives.

- Process Optimization: Continuously improve sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and ensure that all sales activities align with NxtWave's goals.

- Budget Management: Oversee the budget for sales activities within your state. Ensure cost-effective strategies are implemented, and all expenses are accurately tracked and reported.

- Issue Resolution: Address critical issues promptly, including customer escalations, and provide solutions that enhance the customer experience and protect NxtWave's reputation.

Who are we looking for?

- Experience: 7+ years of experience leading Sales/Pre-Sales teams, with a strong preference for experience in the EdTech or education sector.

- Sales Acumen: Deep understanding of sales processes, especially in an offline context, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets.

- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with experience in building, managing, and mentoring high-performing sales teams.

- Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the education sector in your state, including key players, market dynamics, and regional opportunities.

- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers and secure long-term partnerships.

- Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions to overcome challenges and drive business success.

Languages Known:

Work Location & Working Days:

- This role involves frequent field visits to educational institutions and related events. - Relevant expenses (Fuel, Food, Accommodation) will be reimbursed by the company.

- Flexibility to come to the office whenever required.

- 6-day work week with a rotational week off (Sunday won't be a week off).

- Willingness to travel as required.

- Must have your own laptop (Mandatory).
