Key Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and other parties in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain a contract management system to track and monitor contractual obligations, status and renewals.
- Develop and maintain the company's legal compliance program to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Identify potential legal and regulatory risks and implement a risk mitigation plan.
- Develop and implement internal policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and address process issues to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations and contracts.
- Assist by providing required information and documentation for external audits
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and provide guidance to the organization on legal and compliance matters
- Train employees on compliance policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree from a reputed Law College / University.
- 3+ years of experience in a legal role, preferably in a corporate setting
- Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts
- Strong understanding of applicable laws and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
