Position Summary:

NxtWave is seeking an experienced and ambitious Head of Sales - NxtWave Abroad to lead our expansion into the study abroad market. This role is critical for driving NxtWave's vision of becoming a leader in the global education sector by providing exceptional services to students aspiring to study abroad. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the study abroad industry, a proven track record in sales leadership, and the ability to create and execute strategies that drive international growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Study Abroad Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for NxtWave's study abroad services, focusing on key markets, student recruitment, and partnership development.

- Market Expansion: Identify and target new geographic regions for expansion, ensuring NxtWave's services are available to a broad international audience. Tailor strategies to meet the specific needs and regulatory requirements of each region.

- Customer Acquisition & Engagement: Drive initiatives to attract students aspiring to study abroad. Create targeted campaigns, partnerships, and events that resonate with prospective students and their families.

- Partnership Development: Establish and manage partnerships with universities, colleges, and educational consultants worldwide. Collaborate with international education institutions to enhance NxtWave's offerings and ensure seamless student placements.

- Team Leadership & Management: Build and lead a high-performing sales team dedicated to the study abroad vertical. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the team meets and exceeds sales targets.

- Operational Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end process of student recruitment, from initial inquiry to successful enrollment. Ensure a smooth and efficient process that enhances the student experience.

- Brand Building: Elevate NxtWave's brand in the international education market through strategic marketing initiatives, thought leadership, and participation in global education fairs and events.

- Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth through innovative sales strategies, effective team management, and the development of new business opportunities in the study abroad sector.

- Frugal Mindset: Implement cost-effective strategies that maximize resources and ensure high returns on investment while maintaining the quality of services.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferred.

- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the study abroad or international education industry.

- Extensive knowledge of the study abroad market, including key destinations, student recruitment practices, and international education regulations.

- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in the global education sector.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans with a hands-on approach.

- Frugal mindset with a focus on maximizing resources and driving efficiency.

- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
