Job Title: Labour Law Compliance Associate

Location: Hyderabad

Job Type: Full-Time

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Compliance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as an Labour Law Compliance Associate. In this role, you will support the compliance team in ensuring the company's adherence to labour laws and regulations. This position is ideal for individuals with 1-2 years of their career in labour law compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and Analysis:

- Assist in researching state, and local labour laws and regulations.

- Analyze legal documents, government guidelines, and regulatory updates to ensure company compliance.

- Prepare summaries and reports on relevant labour law topics.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, including audits, investigations, and corrective actions.

- Assist in the preparation and organization of compliance documentation for internal and external audits.

- Ensure timely and accurate filing of required compliance reports and documentation.

Compliance Audits and Reviews:

- Participate in internal compliance audits to assess adherence to labour laws and company policies.

- Assist in identifying areas of non-compliance and help develop corrective action plans.

- Follow up on audit findings to ensure issues are addressed and resolved.

Training and Education:

- Support the development and delivery of training programs on labour law compliance for employees and management.

- Assist in creating educational materials and resources to promote awareness of compliance requirements.

Policy Development and Implementation:

- Assist in the review and update of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labour laws.

- Help implement new compliance initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.

Communication and Liaison:

- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding basic compliance questions and issues.

- Communicate compliance updates and changes to relevant departments and personnel.

General Administrative Support:

- Provide administrative support to the compliance team, including scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and managing files.

- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.

Experience: 1 to 2 years experience in Labour law compliance field

Skills:

- Strong research and analytical skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with basic labour laws and regulations.

- Experience in a corporate or legal environment.
