Key Responsibilities:
- Fundraising & capital strategy: Drive equity and debt financing, collaborating with investors, banks, and institutions to secure capital and support expansion projects.
- Budgeting and cash flow management for strategic projects.
- Financial strategy & forecasting: Lead financial planning and budgeting, including monitoring and aligning resources with Nutrifresh's growth objectives.
- Internal controls & compliance: Establish robust financial controls to safeguard assets, mitigate risks, and maintain audit readiness.
- Conduct assessments to improve financial controls and reporting practices.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory compliance and ensure timely compliance of audits.
- Performance management & reporting: monitor financial performance, adjusting strategies to meet targets.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board, outlining key metrics, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with operational teams to support cost management and budget optimization.
- Stakeholder & investor relations: Serve as a primary contact for investors and board members, maintaining transparent communication on financial strategies and progress.
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or master's in business administration (MBA) or equivalent.
- 15+ years of experience. Expertise in agriculture, agritech, FMCG or manufacturing would be preferable
- Proven track record in fund raising, investor relations, and internal control implementation.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, risk management, and best financial practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
